Pear Linux is an operating system based on Ubuntu Linux. Some of its features include ease-of-use, custom user interface with a Mac OS X-style dockbar, and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codecs.

The aim is to create a reliable, efficient and innovative. Pear Linux 8 is an Ubuntu remix with a simple but beautiful user interface (a customized GNOME 3) and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codecs. It’ll work with your existing PC files, printers, cameras and MP3 players.
