Ubuntu 17.10 Alpha-2 Images Available for VirtualBox and VMware

Ubuntu team is working on upcoming release Ubuntu 17.10, currently it is under development and last month Alpha-2 was released ‘17.10 Artful’. Mark Shuttleworth announced that they ditching Unity desktop and stopping the development, for next release 17.10 Gnome Shell is going to be default desktop in Ubuntu “We will continue to produce the most usable open source desktop in the world, to maintain the existing LTS releases, to work with our commercial partners to distribute that desktop, to support our corporate customers who rely on it, and to delight the millions of IoT and cloud developers who innovate on top of it”. We are releasing most recent version of Ubuntu 17.10 Artful.
