Android x86 7.0 Nougat Image Available for VirtualBox and VMware

Android x86 developers released the testing version of Android 7.0 Nougat, it is only available for 64bit architecture that means you can’t run it on old 32bit machine, it should be considered as RC until they properly release stable version. There is not any official announcement since this is built from source code and we don’t know any known issue with this build, feel free to mention in the comments below if you find any.

We are providing you virtual images for latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat (only 64bit yet) for VirtualBox and VMware.

You can download VDI and VMDK images for VirtualBox & VMware from here.

Why there is no 32bit version available?

        x86 is CPU architecture. 64-bit Intel/AMD CPU’s are x86.

x86 is the name of the project ,-, not the architecture

Google dropped 32-bit support for Android with Nougat 7.0. Phones/tablets from Google (Pixel, Pixel C, etc.) all have 64-bit CPU’s.

Moto Z Play has a 32-bit version of Nougat.

Nougat keep rebooting at the loading screen. Anyone get it up and running? What are your settings?

How to get google play installed on Naugat 7.0

Cant get NAT to work – When attempting to use internet after enabling nat, the VM reboots. VM also randomly reboots when clicking random programs or icons. Troubleshooting, but if anyone has any ideas, id be most appreciative.

I do not think these images are safe. I downloaded Android Marshmallow and mouse was behaving weirdly. Then suddenly it started moving in way that someone else was using it and started typing on its own. I disconnected the internet and everything went to normal. I suggest you create your own virtual images. These are not trusting times.
