Ubuntu team announced the new version of Ubuntu 20.04.2 and Ubuntu Server 20.04.2: “The Ubuntu team is pleased to announce the release of Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS (Long-Term Support) for its Desktop, Server, and Cloud products, as well as other flavours of Ubuntu with long-term support. RISC-V image for SiFive HiFive Unleashed board is now available, which can also be used as a VM with QEMU on any Ubuntu 20.04 machine. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is based on the long-term supported Linux release series 5.4. HWE stack updated to Linux release series 5.8.
